
CAMERON COZZENS
Director, Government Practice
As a former U.S. Army Colonel with more than two decades of distinguished leadership and operational experience in the Intelligence and Special Operations communities, Cameron delivers an incredibly unique and valuable perspective to his audiences. He is a certified master facilitator and popular public speaker whose energy, knowledge, and practical experience spark intense interest and engagement. As the director of Arbinger’s government practice, he oversees all of Arbinger’swork affecting tens of thousands of people in hundreds of teams, organizations and agencies with the military and federal government. Cameron has extensive experience advising, consulting, and training leaders from large multinational corporations and federal government agencies to successfully lead organizational and cultural change. His specialty lies in quantifying the impact of Arbinger’s work within organizations. He is passionate about this topic and speaks persuasively about how to overcome the challenges inherent in measuring the impact of multifaceted efforts like training.
Cameron is a regular guest lecturer on leadership to graduate students at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. His clients have included NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of State, the Office of Personnel Management, the four military services, and dozens of other U.S. federal government agencies.
Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology and a master’sdegree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He has worked extensively with the Boy Scouts of America, having served in various leadership positions over the past 25 years. He has lived on five continents and worked in or traveled to more than 75 countries. In his free time, Cameron enjoys traveling, hiking, and outdoor activities. He and his wife Tami have been married for 30 years and are parents of three grown children and one really cute grandson.
